I might lose my mind

How much can one small dog poop? The answer, a lot. Like wall to wall.

We took Caliope to the vet this weekend. $700 later, still no answers. More food, more vitamins, more shots, more poop. This brings the grand total debt to $2000 - and she weighs 5lbs. To give you an idea, that's less then Cat's Maltese weights (pictured below). If she doesn't gain weight within the next few days she needs an intestinal biopsy which is another $1000, to maybe get some answers.

It's not her fault, but I want to shake her and yell "what's wrong with you." Which proves, again, I'm not ready for motherhood. But after spending an hour and a roll of paper towels last night scrubbing my bedroom floor free of rancid dog poop, only to wake up this morning to a matching mess in the living room - you'd start to lose it too. So I glare at her, only to have the droopy eyed look returned. Then, I feel worse and I feed her some more.

When will this end?

I spoke too soon about the noise/kids in the hall. Friday night, I come home before going to dinner with Shilpi and Lisa only to be accosted by a 19 year old in the elevator and walk into a hallway littered with children's toys. The doors of the apartments on either side of the elevator were wide open and blasting Hot 97. I love my "hip hop and R&B" as much as anyone else, but this isn't a club, and there are babies living in those apts. I could hear them screaming over the thumpin baseline.

There was a donut on the stair.

Saturday morning, I came home to what looked like a McDonald's party in my lobby. Apparently there was a free McDonald's buffet on the floor Friday night? This made me worry. Does this mean all the people who congregate outside my door will be moving into my lobby during the Winter months? There's no way they all live in my building. Some maybe, but not all. It's going to be awesome walking the dogs through that.

Yesterday I was too busy with poop to notice anything in the building. But this morning I woke up to corn on the cob on the stair and urine on two of the four landings. I decided I need to start taking video and streaming it on my blog.

Maybe smell-o-vision might be better for the full effect.
