Doh!

The internal medicine vet called to check in. She said Caliope's pee looked good. I could have told her that. Then, she asked how the little girl was doing. I told her the dog is probably eating more now then she has in forever. And she gained .5 lbs, which is a start. The vet said she'll call back when she has the results of the last test, but then she asks if they ever checked for Salmonella, which most people know, but is the doggy equivalent of food poisoning. I said, "I don't know, but I would assume we've had every test known to man and God." She said, no it doesn't look like they checked for it in her records.
Are you kidding? I could have diagnosed this WEEKS ago. No one ever checked for FOOD POISONING.

Who am I dealing with here?
